KILLARNEY REGATTA 2009

5th July 2009!

 

It was a great day for all, and congratulations to all crews, who put on a great show for everyone! Killarney Regatta was very successful for the valley, with two 1st places! Thanks to all our coxes, and the organisers for making it happen too.

Juvenile Ladies Sixes: There were many boats in this race including: Muckross A+B+C, Fossa, St. Brendan’s, Workmens, and of course Flesk Valley A+B. The A’s rowed very well and secured a respectable 3rd place….great going girls! and the b’s came flying in behind them!

Junior Ladies Sixes: Again many showed up for this race, there were Muckross A+B, Workmens, St. Brendan’s, Fossa, and again of course Flesk Valley A+B! It was a tough race but the women managed to secure 4th and with there 2nd crew not far behind!

 

 

Junior Sixes: Outstanding race! There were 5 boats in thisrace, and it looked to be a tough race. But Flesk Valley bombed past every crew leaving them for dust!

there was a huge margin of a difference between 1st and 2nd place …Huge!
